WALT show smart relationship qualities
Today in cyber smart we were focusing on showing smart relationship qualities. Our challenge was to make the tallest structure out of edible food.
Criteria: 10 minutes of planning, 10 minutes of building. The tower has to be free standing and we could only use 12 spaghetti sticks and 8 marshmallows.
My partner was Mikey and our group name was "Friendship." We had quite a good plan I thought because if you put 4 marshmallows on the bottom and build up then the tower will be quite stable.
After 10 minutes we had to stop and Mrs Collins measured everyone's tower. Ours was 31cm high but the winners one was 36cm.
It was a good exercise and we learned to work together.

My Digital Footprint
My Digital Footprint
This is my digital footprint which tells people whether my internet use is positive or negative. Mrs Collins rated me 50% which she said was quite good because I am using some good sites but maybe too many game sites.
St Patrick' Day
On Monday had St Patrick day because it was his feast day. It was fun and the best day ever. Early in the morning the whole school went to mass. Later we were sorted into teams and mine was the Shamrock. Our first activity was 'Capture the flag' but unfortunately we lost.
We had lunch together and then in the afternoon we did some St Patrick's activities.

Catholic Schools' Day
Catholic Schools' Day
Last Tuesday we had Catholics Schools' day and St Ignatius and St Pius x (x means 10th) came to our school. The whole school was so excited to meet the other schools so many children ran down to the gate. Luckily the duty teacher heard the loud screaming and she ran to stop them from going out of the school grounds.
We all went to mass and St Ignatius is such a big school that they took up ALL the pews on the left side of the church. There were three priests instead of one. After mass Room 4 from St Pius did a liturgical dance.
We all went back to school but the weather was not very good. It was so cold and rainy outside, so we didn't get to do our tabloid sports. We were sad because we wanted to play against the other schools. They had to leave early on the buses.
